Atlanta Westside Presbyterian Church (AWPC), a growing congregation, expanded its facility to accommodate both worship services and an educational program. Originally occupying half of the building, the church took over the entire space, Building out classrooms, offices, and flexible multi-purpose rooms. AWPC needed a modern, distributed audiovisual (AV) system, along with an access control solution and security cameras, to support their expansion and ensure both operational efficiency and safety. We provided a comprehensive, scalable system tailored to the church’s requirements, creating a seamless, connected, and secure environment for the congregation.

As AWPC expanded its facility, they needed to address several key challenges:

  1. AV System for Worship and Education: The church needed an AV solution that would allow them to broadcast services not only in the main sanctuary but also to classrooms and other spaces. This was critical for Sunday school classes, where children needed to stay connected to the service while in separate rooms.
  2. Multi-Use Facility Management: With a variety of rooms—some of which could be divided or combined based on different events—the church required a flexible AV setup to support both large services and smaller, more intimate gatherings or classroom activities.
  3. Enhanced Security for Public and Private Areas: As part of their expansion, AWPC required an access control and security camera solution to ensure both operational efficiency and safety. A comprehensive, scalable system that not only allowed for controlled access to sensitive areas but also offered continuous surveillance with strategically placed cameras, ensuring both the safety of the facility and the smooth operation of services.

At the same time, public areas like the sanctuary remain easily accessible during services. Additionally, we installed security cameras throughout the facility, providing continuous monitoring of key spaces to deter unauthorized access and ensure the safety of both staff and visitors at all times.
