Project Scope

Capital City Club, one of the most prestigious private clubs in the Southeast, has been a long-term client of ours. Over the years, we’ve partnered with them on multiple projects involving audiovisual (AV) systems, low-voltage solutions, and security enhancements. Most recently, the club expanded by adding a new wing that includes a men’s grill, dining areas, and a fitness center. Our role in this expansion was to provide a full range of AV and technology solutions, creating modern, high-tech spaces that enhance member experiences and streamline club operations.

Project Highlights

The Challenge

As part of their significant expansion, Capital City Club wanted to upgrade their technology infrastructure to meet the following objectives:

  1. Integrated AV for Multi-Use Spaces: The new wing included various spaces—dining rooms, a fitness center, and the men’s grill—that required custom AV setups to cater to different member activities and events. The club needed a flexible system that could support anything from casual dining to large events such as weddings and galas.
  2. Event-Ready Technology: The club wanted to ensure that their AV systems could support a wide range of member events, from informal gatherings to high-profile functions. This required scalable systems with wireless microphones, distributed audio, and video walls, all controlled via easy-to-use touch panels.
  3. Security and Surveillance: In addition to the AV installations, Capital City Club needed enhanced security measures, including cameras and access control, to ensure a safe and secure environment for members and staff.
  4. Robust Networking for today and future growth: Amongst the planned networking needs for POS stations, kitchen ordering systems, printers and WIFI access points, we pre-wired to cover multiple locations and to assure coverage for members and staff was beyond adequate

Solutions Overview

We provided end-to-end AV and security solutions, starting with consultation and design, and following through to installation, integration, and ongoing management. Our work ensured that Capital City Club’s expansion would offer state-of-the-art technology tailored to meet the club’s operational and event needs.

Key Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive AV Distribution: We installed a video distribution system throughout the new dining areas, the men’s grill, and the fitness center. This system allows the club to display different content on multiple screens—for example, showing a football game on one screen and a baseball game on another—all managed through an intuitive control system that staff can operate via touch screens or iPads.
  • Event-Ready AV Systems: In areas designed for member events and overflow from larger functions, we integrated wireless microphone systems, distributed speakers, and video walls. These systems allow the club to host events like weddings, galas, and large gatherings with ease. The sound and video quality is optimized for both small and large groups, enhancing the overall event experience.
  • Pool Area AV: In addition to the new wing, we had previously installed an audio system around the pool area, including speakers and wireless microphones. This setup allows for seamless audio coverage during poolside events and competitions, such as swim meets or social gatherings.
  • Security Cameras: To enhance safety, we installed security cameras throughout the new wing, particularly in high-traffic areas like the dining rooms and outdoor spaces. This ensures that club management can monitor activities and keep the environment secure for members.

Our AV and security integration transformed the club’s new spaces into versatile, technology-enabled environments, elevating the overall member experience:
